Terms and conditions of the use of the donation link of the United Arab Emirates Red Crescent

Introduction:

Since the UAE Red Crescent is concerned with the implementation of charitable non-profit projects inside and outside of the State, including the construction of mosques, orphans’ protection, digging wells and other land works, the authority provides means to facilitate the procedures for people who wish to make a donation. In the event of philanthropists wishing to donate to one of those projects, whether alone or with family and friends, the process is supported by a donation link (a smart link created and managed by the UAE Red Crescent to promote its projects and encourage others to donate to the various humanitarian missions), through which all donations are allocated to the relevant Red Crescent account, after which the projects can be implemented upon completion of the required amount allocated to each.

Terms and conditions of providing the link:

1. The donor is fully aware that his signature on this document is consent to the terms and conditions of providing him with the donation link.

2. The donor is fully aware that the validity of the link lasts only 60 days from the date he/she receives it.

3. The donor is fully aware that the UAE Red Crescent has the full right to suspend the validity of the link during the 60 days validity period of the link.

4. The donor is fully aware that the UAE Red Crescent is entitled to transfer the amount assigned for the project to the same-project contribution account if it exceeds its 60-day limit without completing the amount dedicated for project.

5. The donor is fully aware that all the amounts transferred to the UAE Red Crescent in any way for a certain project are non-refundable, and that if the value of the project is not completed, the authority has the right to re-direct the donation to any other charitable and humanitarian projects it deems appropriate.

6. The donor is fully aware that his/her efforts to raise funds for any project are not valid for compensation and are also considered a donation on their part.

7. The donor is fully aware of the importance of the link and acknowledges that he/she will not abuse or misuse it.

8. The donor is informed that he/she is the only party authorized by the UAE Red Crescent to raise funds for the project through the link and on behalf of the authority.

9. The donor is informed that he/she is the only party authorized to communicate with the Red Crescent via the link as the party who originally requested the link.

10. The donor is informed that the waiver of the link to third parties may only be performed with the written consent of the UAE Red Crescent.

11. The donor is fully aware that all the information about the Red Crescent is confidential and not to be shared with third parties.

12. The donor is fully aware that the UAE Red Crescent has the right to add, alter or change all terms and conditions, and the signing of this document does not constitute any restriction on the UAE Red Crescent.

13. The donor is informed and acknowledges that apart from the link above, he/she is not entitled to claim that he represents the UAE Red Crescent in any capacity, nor is he/she entitled to collect any donations in any capacity.
